Tape Five

Man, Germany certainly knows how to swing! Tape Five is a fun part of the German Electro Swing Scene that includes the likes of De-Phazz and Club Des Belugas (as spotlighted in earlier posts). The group was founded in 2003 by multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer Martin Strathausen (Tape Five). An easy way to remember their name is to think of the iconic Dave Brubeck composition "Take Five" and replace the "k" in "Take" with "p". Enjoy!
